Sorry to hear that Dear Aunt Lucy has passed. I remember the picnics we had growing up! Uncle Bob always had a garden! Now, all we have are the memories. I had stopped and visted her a few time this spring. She alway knew who I was.
Teresa and Linda: my deepest sympathies to you. My prayers are with you and your family. Your Mom did a great job with raising such special daughters.
Aunt Lucy has always had my admiration. What fun times us Cook kids had visiting our Loftus cousins. I stayed over night as a child and was added to the chore list. Hoe beans. Aunt Lucy knew how to make all kids feel special. We will all miss our Aunt Lucy.
Oh Linda, So sad to hear this news and your mother sounds like a wonderful, practical, loving, and fun person. Had no idea you were going through this with her illness and Hospice care. Please take care of yourself, and take comfort in your large family. We miss you at the Promotion Club, the pool, and the Lake.
So sorry to hear of Lucy's passing. I warmly remember Lucy and all coming to the picnics at Hummel's Hollow. Our thoughts are with all the Loftus family.
