Loyann Burton

Loyann M. Burton, Age 55,of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009 at home in Overland Park, KS, surrounded by loved ones and friends, after a courageous battle with Scleroderma. Born in Geneva, Ohio to Anna & Lloyd Irons She was a 1972 graduate of Geneva High School. She was a loving mother, devoted daughter, dear sister, and a wonderful true friend. She was a very active member in the Scleroderma Foundation for many years and is a Past President of a local Kansas City Chapter. She was a dog lover and was so proud of her Bichons, Zena and Zoey. Loyann enjoyed dancing and participated in tap and line dancing for many years. She also enjoyed bowling, the beach, movies and music. She is survived by: Son, Dylan Clark Burton of Overland Park, KS; Mother: Anna Irons of Overland Park, KS; Brothers, David (Diana) Irons of Fort Mill, SC, William Irons of Geneva, OH. She was preceded in death by Her father, Lloyd Irons No visitation will be observed Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, November 21, 2009 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 811 South Broadway, Geneva. Rev. Jonathan Schroeder of of St. John's Lutheran Church will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva.
