Louis “Lucky” McDonald Jr., age 65, of Geneva, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born June 16, 1957 in Dover, NJ, the son of Mary Lillian Dunn and Louis E. McDonald, Sr. He married Deborah Moore on August 21, 1987. Louis was a retired Electrician for IBEW 673 and volunteered many years with the Geneva Grape Jamboree. He enjoyed fishing, smoking, chilling, and taking his dog “Whiskey” for his daily hamburger. He loved Classic Rock, especially Floyd, Zappa and the Grateful Dead. He also volunteered for softball and T-Ball as an umpire. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; children, Louis “Matthew” (Andreanna) McDonald, Kathleen Frances (Stephen) Robertson, Haley Rose (John Hayhurst) McDonald; grandchildren, Carter Louis Hayhurst, Dameon and Gabriel; sister, Karen (Reg) Houghwot; brother, Dean McDonald. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, David Flanders and brother, Kim McDonald. Friends and family will be received 5-7 pm Tuesday, July 5, 2022  at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva with a Service immediately following at 7 pm. Final Resting Place will be Fairview Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Louis’s name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, OH  44192.   1. Debbie, I am so sorry Lucky passed, you and Lucky have always been 2 of my favorite niece and nephew. I remember how Lolly used to say how much you and Lucky did for her and how much she loved you both so much. She was fortunate to have a great Son and Daughter in law in her life. I wish you strength and prayers and hope you know his pain is over and he is with the Lord. Stay Strong !
