Fidel, Sr. Age 83 Resident of Geneva, Ohio Passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 Veterans Medical Center in Erie, PA Born August 22, 1926 in Cleveland, to Antonia (Panko) & Anton Fidel Married Sandra Butler in Jefferson, Ohio on 10/9/1993 Occupation: Owner Fidel Brothers Meat Packing and also operated the family farm in Unionville. Memberships and Affiliations: 1944 Graduate of Geneva High School. Served in the United States Army during World War II. He loved traveling, fishing and camping with his wife. He is survived by Wife: Sandra Fidel of Geneva 2 Daughters Tammy (David) Gabor of Madison, OH Ann (Rick) Whaley of Madison, OH 1 Son Jim Fidel of Madison, OH Step Daughter Tamie (Mike) Gehrkens of Georgia 7 Grandchildren Nichol, David, Elisabeth, Mitch, Trent, Nick, and Jake 2 Sisters Josephine Sidley of Unionville, OH Rose Fidel of Nadick, MA He was preceded in death by his Parents; Son, Louis Fidel, Jr.; Sister, Mary Fidel; Brothers Anthony & Jim Fidel Graveside Service will be held and Fairview Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2009. Pastor Shirley Stoops-Frantz, of South Harpersfield United Methodist Church, will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
