Lother D. Alley

Lother D. Alley, age 79, of Rome, OH passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Geneva Shores in Geneva. He was born January 5, 1934 in Ransom, KY to Nella (May) & Burnas Otwell Alley. He married Doris Moles in Eastpoint, Kentucky on August 2, 1952. Lother graduated from high school in 1951 in Williamson, WV. Retiring from Caterpillar/Towmotor in Mentor he had worked as a Foreman and with Quality Control. He was also a member of the South Madison Church of Christ and Lother's hobbies included wood working, hunting, and fishing. He loved spending time with family, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Doris Alley of Hartsgrove: daughter, Teresa (Don) Reid of Hartsgrove; brother, Sherrill T. (Sondra) Alley of Georgetown, TX; sisters, Ardith Elam of Parma, Judith Graham of Berea, Deanna (Bert) Geiger of Parma Heights; mother, Nella (John) Coljohn of Parma; stepmother, Betty L. Alley of Columbia Station; grandchildren, Heather (Brett) Dalton, Timothy (Tina) Reid, Ryan & Elise Alley; daughter-in-law, Priscilla Alley of Edmond, OK; step-grandson, Thomas Reid; step-granddaughter, Sheryl (Mark) King;great-grandchildren, Benjamin Reid and Isabella Dalton; step-great-granddaughters, McKenzie Dalton, Hannah & Emily King He was preceded in death by his father Burnas and son, Anthony Debrell Alley. Friends will be receivedfrom 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 17th at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Hartsgrove Cemetery in Hartsgrove Township.
