Loretta M. Boyce

Loretta M. Boyce, age 98, of Geneva, OH passed away December 1, 2013 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home. She was born December 6, 1914 in Cleveland to Mary Catherine (Soeder) & Andrew M. Friedel. A graduate of Villa Angela Academy and St. Johns College in Cleveland, she entered the sisterhood and worked as a 4th grade teacher. Loretta had also worked as an administrative assistant for Boyce Precision Products and attended the United Church of Geneva and Friends of Geneva Library. She is survived by nieces, Jeanne Zanettin of Cleveland Heights and Atlantis, FL, Andrea Smyke of Mayfield Heights, Francine Pate of Richmond Heights and nephew, Kenneth Jack of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orrin; son, Marcus F. DeLenc; sisters Marie Jack, Margaret Prachar & Helen Hernden. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva, Ohio 44041.
