"Together AGAIN" Lorena M. Broadwater passed away on July 31, 2022, in her home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born December 19, 1926 in Painesville, and has been a resident of Lake County all of her life. She spent many years on the Fox Spring Farm in Kirtland Hills, the estate of Pamela H. Firman, where her husband, Carl, was the farm superintendent retiring in 1984. She was active with Old South Church in Kirtland for thirty years, having served on the Board of Deacons and with the Women’s Fellowship. Later she was a member of Central Congregational Church in Madison, where she was involved with Lay Visitation and other church activities. Lorena was a 45 year member of the Friends and Neighbors Club of Painesville Township, the Lake County Farm Bureau, serving on the Board of Trustees for six years, and was also a member of the Bureau of Women’s Committee where she served as chairperson for fifteen years. Survivors are her sons, David of Kirtland, Dale of Madison; grandchildren, Lori (Jeff) Jevnikar, Angie Broadwater, Robert (Cindy), Mark (Nicole), Lisa, Darris (Kellie) Broadwater; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Chris (Angeles), Jonathan, Justice, Casey, Loren, Luke, Sadie, Austine, Seth, Grace, Athena, DJ; great-great grandchild, Aaron Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; parents, Lester and Nellie Dunn; daughters-in-law Sally and Laurie Broadwater and brother Edward Johns. Friends and family will be received 5-8 pm Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Service will take place at 1 pm Friday, August 5th at Central Congregational Church, 71 Park Street in Madison with 1 hour visitation prior to the service beginning at 12 noon at the church. The Reverend Rick Hughes will officiate. Final Resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Lorena’s name to the Central Congregational Church General Fund.     I am deeply sorry that I have not seen Aunt Lorena for a very
    long time. Life is short and now my time with her is gone but
    she will remain in my prayers. The key is she is finaly at peace
    God Bless her ! Aunt Lorena was a Lovely person.
