Lois V. Tackett

Lois V. Tackett, age 80, of Geneva, OH passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Rae-Ann Geneva in Geneva. She was born May 6, 1933 in Virgie, Kentucky to Bertha & Wilburn Osborne. She married John Tackett in Virgie, KY on September 25, 1948. Lois worked for many years and retired from Tegam in Geneva. She attended People's Church in Geneva and was involved with the Geneva Hospital Women's Auxiliary. With a love of music, she was a talented singer and loved to play the guitar. She also enjoyed sewing, playing cards, and long trips in the countryside. Lois was active in the community, a loving mother to many, and truly enjoyed time spent with her family and grandkids. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda (Vern) Thompson of Geneva, Cheryl Tackett of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Rick (Mary Beth) Tackett, Courtney Thompson, Vern Thompson III, and great-granddaughter, Bailey Tackett. She was preceded in death by her husband John; her parents; sons, Johnny sisters, Leslie Johnson, Lexie Johnson and Deara Tackett. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. on Sunday May 19, 2013 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva. Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 20 at the Funeral Home. Rev. Alexander Zell of Peoples Church in Geneva will officiate the service. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
