Lois B. Warfield, age 93, of Perry, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at David Simpson Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 16, 1929 in Jefferson, Pennsylvania to Benjamin and Lela (Harris) Crable. She married Daniel Warfield September 22, 1963 in Painesville, Ohio.
Lois loved gardening, raising her own flowers, drying them, to make beautiful arrangements for family and friends. She loved Bingo, fishing, trips to the casino, and playing poker—she wouldn’t play cards if there wasn’t any money involved! She and Dan took many vacations together. Lois and Dan’s door was always open to family and friends, and, on occasion, to a stranger needing help.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Daniel; daughter, Carlotta (Denny) Spaid; grandson, Edward Spaid; and brother, Clinton “Bud” Crable; brother-in-law, Jim (Pat) Warfield; sister-in-law, Linda Warfield; niece, Tracy Davis and many additional nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Winnie Pretz.
Friends and family will be received 4pm to 7pm, Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. A funeral service will take place 11am on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in the funeral home officiated by Deacon Andy Novak. Final Resting Place will be Riverside Cemetery in Painesville, Ohio.

For my beautiful Aunt. Love you dearly.
I worked at Neff-Perkins for 35 years, 17 of those years in Perry with Lois. Although, I worked in the office, I was in contact with all employees. Lois and her co-workers were such dedicated employees and such hard workers. It was such a difficult job they had and I told them often “I would never be able to do what you do”. I remember Lois as a very kind and sweet person. I know she will be missed. Carole
