Mrs. Lisa Marie Obelenus Sumrow, 50, of Madison, Ohio, died on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Tampa General Hospital, of a sudden illness.
She was born on August 4, 1962 in Madison to George and Lynna Obelenus. She married James O. Sumrow on July 17, 1982 and was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She formerly worked for the N.E.O. Hospital and Lake Hospital System; and volunteered at Madison Schools and the YMCA.
Lisa is survived by her husband Jim, children Delainey and Aubrey, her mother Lynna of Madison, siblings Christine Link of Lake Wales, Florida, Michael Obelenus of Windsor, Cheryl Greenhouse of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, Gerald Obelenus of Billings, Montana, Laurie Kerzisnik of Madison, and Maria Noble of Clermont, Florida, her mother and father-in-law Patricia and William Sumrow of Toronto, aunts and uncles Charles Foster, David Foster, Rachel Branning, Duane Foster, Gaile Durko, Richard Foster, John Foster, and Laura Butts, her in-laws Debbie and John Sciance and John Sumrow and Susan Beaver, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, her great aunts Shirley Noll, Helen Foster, and Charlotte Foster, and a great uncle Sylvester Obelenus.
She was preceded in death by her father George, grandparents Elizabeth and Arnold Foster and Adlean and Sylvester Obelenus, uncles Neil and Douglas, and her aunt Karen Giddings.
In keeping with her wishes, Lisa's final act of selflessness and love was vascular and tissue donation through LifeLink of Florida.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Chapel United Methodist Church, 2019 Hubbard Road, Madison, Ohio.
