Lisa A. Sandoval
November 24, 1964 ~ November 28, 2018
Lisa A. Sandoval (Schubert), 54 yrs., of Canton, OH, formerly of Madison, passed away unexpectedly November 28, 2018 at her home. She was born November 24, 1964 in Akron to Carl and Helene (Dowd) Schubert.
Lisa worked for many years as a funding specialist for National Seating and Mobility. She was a
‘foodie’, enjoyed cooking new recipes and baking for family and friends. Lisa was very competitive learning to play pinochle at a very young age and it carried on with her love of cards, casinos and board games. Lisa loved live concerts and classic rock. Her favorites were Kiss and Tom Petty. She inherited the passion of gardening from her great aunt, Margie, along with reading murder mysteries. Her great affection of all animals included her dogs which she showered with an abundance of love. Lisa was always appreciated for her quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor. Maybe one of her best attributes was the way she made everyone feel special for who they were.
She is survived by her parents; sisters Laura VanPelt and Carla Schubert; niece, Ashley VanPelt and a nephew, Nathaniel Sakacsi. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and great aunt.

I only worked with Lisa for a short time, in that time I got to know her as a sweet, caring person. She touched many lives in a positive way. It was a privilege to get to know and work with her. Beth Crowe
My deepest sympathies to her family, friends, and fur babies.
I don't have too many memories of high school without Lisa in them. She was a sweet, kind, goofy, thoughtful, fun person that I have had the privilege to know for about 38 years! I feel very blessed that I had a chance to reconnect with her the past few years when she would come down to SC to visit. A little lunch, a little shopping and a little sitting around to catch up is something I guess I took for granted. You will be dearly missed my friend!! I will miss your smile, your quirky ways and your gigantic heart! RIP my friend. I am blessed to have known you and I will always treasure our friendship! Love you!!
My heart goes out to all her loved-ones and colleagues at this sad time. May you be embraced by the love and support of each other.
