Lindy L. Hopkins

Lindy Hopkins, age 72, of Perry, Ohio, passed away October 28, 2018 at UH Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She was born February 23, 1946 in Geneva, Ohio, to Arline (Jones) and Edward Scheuring. Lindy married Richard Hopkins on June 14, 1969, in Thompson, Ohio. Lindy enjoyed hiking, camping and the outdoors. She also loved quilting and sewing. More than anything, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by husband, Richard Hopkins; son, Ray (Karen) Hopkins; daughter, Tracy (Stu) Bennett; grandchildren, Alexandra Hopkins, Jacob Bennett, Rosie Bennett; and sister, Sally Coe. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Tim Scheuring. Friends will be received 4-7 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio 44057 with a Funeral Service on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson United Methodist Church, 6758 Madison Rd., Thompson, Ohio 44086. Pastor Dennis Lafferty will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be Perry Cemetery.
