Linda Rae Kovalchik, age 80, of Madison, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023 at UH Geneva Medical Center. She was born March 11, 1943 in Finleyville, PA, the daughter of William E. and Edith (Bane) Lane. She married Bertram Michael Kovalchik April 21, 1962.
Linda was not only a loving caretaker for her family, but also enjoyed helping the elderly in her Sands Community. She also worked for many years in the Cafeteria at Madison High School.
She is survived by her husband, Bertram; daughters, Michele (Dennis) Goodrick, Denise Sinito, Monique Kovalchik, Bernice Kovalchik; grandchildren, Sara, Stephanie, Nathaniel, Alexander, Seth, Mariah, Anthony, Jacob, Sophia, Quinn; sister, Jenny Lee Britvich. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, James and William Lane; sister, Mary Lou Bella.
Friends will be received 10 am to 11 am, Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Lifeline Church, 5236 Middle Ridge Rd, Madison, OH 44057. Funeral Service will take place at 11 am at the church.

To Bert, may you weather the loss in peace – I know you loved her so much and were such a good husband to Linda. And goodbye and thank you Linda for letting us play with the Easy Bake oven and otherwise be kids in the summer. Your children are some of my favorite people. They didn’t fall far from the tree.
