Linda “Bart” Marie Alderton, age 74, a resident of Geneva, Ohio passed away November 20, 2022 after a brief illness. Linda was born June 26, 1948 to the late Joseph and Anthnet Bartasavich. She was greeted into heaven by her husband of 29 years, Hal “Sonny” Alderton and her brother, Donald Bartasavich. Linda grew up in DuBois, PA and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1966. She was an amazing Mom and community volunteer for many years before working in assembly at Tegam. She was known for her smile, laugh and the way she welcomed all with open arms into her home. Linda enjoyed her beautiful porch flowers, sunsets at the beach, campfires, craft shows, flea markets, family game night, live music at local wineries and activities at the senior center. Her three surviving children are Christina (Mark) Powers and Rebecca (Donald) Coan, both of Geneva and Laura (Joshua) Wilhelm of Centerburg, Ohio. Other survivors include her sister, Deborah (David) Piccirillo; partner, William Jarvie; lots of extended family and friends; and beloved pet, Charlie. Grandma was a name she treasured. Surviving grandchildren are Anthony and Christopher Powers, Cole, Kayelee, Xander and Hayden Coan, Isaac, Allison and Benjamin Wilhelm; and great-granddaughter, Eila Powers. Friends will be received from 2-4 pm on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway in Geneva. A private family graveside will be observed and A Celebration of Life will be planned in the spring. Linda was a blessing to many.   4. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Alderton family! Your Mom/Grandma was one of the kindest and sweetest ladies I’ve ever known. I never saw her without a smile. She absolutely adored her three girls. So many great memories of picnics, ladies weekends at the B and B. 4th of July parties, etc… Linda will be so missed! Our hearts are broken!   5. I loved Linda. she was such a fun, happy lady…always smiling…I was so happy to share so many different events with her and the entire family. It is so hard to let fo of such wonderful peopl..she will be missed so much by her family and me…She enjoyed everything in life..summer concerts, baked potato winery, front porch sitting, shave ice at the lake, Eddies Grill, all life had to offer….she was there and had so much fun…a really great lady. I will miss her so much..
