Linda D. Cieslak (Thomas), 68, of Jefferson, passed away at home in her sleep, Sept. 3, 2017. She was born in Cleveland and married Dennis Cieslak in the spring of 1978. Linda was a music lover and big fan of 50s and 60s rock and roll from the era she grew up in. Her first date with husband Dennis was to see the classic movie, American Graffitithey have been together ever since. She loved Rock Operas like Jesus Christ, Superstar and recently met Peter Noonan of Hermans Hermits. Lindas affection for animals cant be measured, and she was much fulfilled caring for and often rescuing animals. Linda is the beloved wife of Dennis for 39 years; dearest mother of John (Jessica) Flowers, Tammy (Patrick) McBride, Joseph (Lindsey) Flowers; dear grandmother of Cody, Zachary, Austin, Amber, and Arya; loving great grandmother of 3; sister of Glenn, Edward, William. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Thomas. Visitation will be 5-7pm Wed. Sept. 13, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison OH 44057. Deacon Andy Novak of St. Cyprian Catholic Church will lead a funeral service at 7pm at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Lindas love for animals was great, and her family suggests contributions made in Lindas memory to any local animal shelter of choice. Friends may leave condolences at www.behmfuneral.com

  2. To the people who attended my mother's funeral, thank you for your kind words and support. Mom really was the best of us, the glue that held us together. For those who couldnt be bothered to take time out of your busy schedules…I guess I dont have to say what you all are to me… Some families know what family means, others are just “relatives”…
