Linda Carol (Bradbury) Branford, age 76 of Geneva, passed away February 12, 2021. She was born July 26, 1944 to Sturlie and Alice (Cassell) Murphy in Cass, West Virginia. Linda graduated from Madison High School in 1962 and Bob Jones University in 1963. On April 3, 2004, Linda married Donald Branford, and they would share ten years together before his passing in 2014. A member of the Geneva Church of Christ, Linda had a deep faith. She worked as a wellness advocate in Lake and Ashtabula County for Headstart and worked as a caregiver at Brittany Residential. However, her favorite time was her time at home, and she loved spending it with her children and grandchildren. Linda is survived by her sons, James K. (Cathy), David, Jonathan (Crystal), and James “Shorty” (Brenda) Bradbury, Don (Linda) Branford Jr.; her daughters, Mable “Cooky” (Jack) Horwath, Candance “Candy” (Ralph) Neal, Viginia (Cliff) Tanner; and grandchildren, Jamie, Karlie, Christian, Trevor, and James Jr. Bradbury, Shayla (Josh) Ansell, Evan Sines, Derik (Katie) Carwardine, Jacklynn Horwath, Steven Roeder, Samantha Doering, Dillon Tanner, Christine (Michael) Frabotta, Ryan (Katrina) Branford, Erika (Paul) Bates; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her son, Shawn Michael; her grandchild, Connor; and her parents. Friends will be received 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. A funeral service will take place 11 am Friday, February 19, 2021 in the funeral home. Guests are required to follow current pandemic guidelines, wear masks and practice social distancing. Final Resting place will be Madison Memorial Cemetery. There will be a gathering after the burial at Holiday Inn Express at the Madison Exit for a time of lunch and fellowship. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Linda’s name to the Geneva Church of Christ, P.O. Box 160, 1007 South Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041.
