Lila E. Dines

Lila E. Dines, Age 96, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 in Madison. Born October 15, 1913 in North West Mantua, to Maebell (Pash) & Fred Kuchenbecker. Lived in Auburn Township for 60 years until the death of her husband. Married Archie Delson Dines in Mercer, PA on 9/1/1934 Lila was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, and worked several years for Welshfield Inn and Pete and Betty Clemens. Lila and her husband enjoyed raising strawberries, gardening and dancing. They danced at various halls and especially enjoyed the polka and Slovenian waltz. After moving to Madison, she became an avid counted cross stitch artist and was skilled at word and picture puzzles. She is survived by Daughters, Fran Balfourd of Niles, Marcia Pirc of Madison & Carol (Jim) Rihel of Niles; 3 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren She was preceded in death by Husband, Archie Delson Dines; Son, Donald D. Dines; Parents; Brothers, Leon & Raymond; Sisters, Amber, Louise, Thelma & Norma Friends will be received 6-7:00 pm, Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Auburn Cemetery.
