Leonore M. Keener

Leonore M. Keener, Age 101, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Geneva Village Retirement Community in Geneva, Ohio Born May 16, 1910 in Toledo to Ida Elizabeth (Stevens) & Howard D. Kellogg, she married Charles W. Keener in Rome, Ohio on July 25, 1940. Leonore was a school teacher at Rome and Spencer schools and assisted her husband in his business, Keener Masseotherapy. She was a member of Geneva First United Methodist where she was a member of the choir, Sunday School Superintendent, and member of Ester-Marian Circle. Member of Eastern Star, Grace Chapter #11 of Geneva, Ohio. She also enjoyed baking and sewing. She is survived by daughter, Vera Mae (Ken) Morgan of Denver, CO; Grandchildren, Denise (Chris) Holder of Eagle River, AK, Dr. Tara (Mike) Shipman of Cortland, Renne (Frank) Loncar of Kirtland & Joshua Morgan of Denver, CO; 4 Great-Grandchildren & 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Husband; Parents; Sisters, Vera L. Kellogg, Grace O?Briant & Adelma Crosby; Brothers, M. L. & Karl Kellogg Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, August 5, at Geneva First United Methodist Church, 89 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Officiating will be Rev. Bruce Hitchcock. Friends will be received at the church 1 hour prior to the service. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
