Leona Hejduk

Leona Hejduk age 95 a lifelong Austinburg/ Madison resident passed away Friday, February 9, 2007 at Jefferson Health Care in Jefferson, Ohio. Born November 15, 1911 in Cleveland to Katherine & Michael Andryszak. Married Joseph Hejduk on 9/15/1938 in Chardon, Ohio. Mrs. Hejduk owned and operated, with her husband, Farm Electric in Madison, Duffy?s Tavern, Jewels Dance Hall and Clay Street Inn in Austinburg. She enjoyed quilting and crafts. She is Survived by her her Children Diana Shovelski of Jefferson; Nelson Hejduk of Austinburg; Mary (Rick) Fuller of Fayetteville, Arkansas; John Hejduk of Madison; Joe (Nancy) Hejduk of Austinburg; 15 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband Joseph Hejduk; 10 Brothers & Sisters. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, February 12th at The Behm Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio Rev.Gordon Emerson will be officiating. Final resting place will be at Perry Cemetery.
