Lee B. Cornell, age 87 of Madison, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017. He was born March 9, 1930 in Geneva to Dorothy (Day) and Fred Cornell. He married the love of his life, June M. James, on June 13, 1953 in Youngstown, Ohio. Lee was a 1948 Graduate of Madison High School and served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1951-1952. He retired in June of 1992, after 30 years at the Madison U.S. Post Office. He enjoyed hunting, playing cards, and spending time with his grandchildren. Lee was a founding member of the Madison Small Game Association. He also enjoyed sports, as well as, being an avid reader. He is survived by daughters, Janet (Edward) Sency, Julie (Peter) Nicka; son, Lee A. (Tami) Cornell; grandchildren, Nicholas Sency, Caitlin Nicka, Jennifer Nicka, Anna Nicka, Eric (Alyssa) Cornell, Mariah (Scott) Pausch; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Sency and Addison Leigh Nicka. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, June; grandson, Capt. Bradly Nicka; his parents; brothers, Fred Cornell, Robert Cornell; and childhood friend of over 70 years, David Titman. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be held 11am Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville, Ohio.   4. Sorry for your loss. Always enjoyed hearing my grandpa tell stories of all the fun he and Lee had through out his life. I’m sure they are enjoying laughs in heaven together.
