Lee Allan Roberts

Lee Allan Roberts, age 61, passed away Wednesday morning in Geneva, after a long battle with cancer. He was born November 5, 1948 in Painesville, Ohio to Sophie (Andrus) Himmelspeck and Roy Roberts and grew up in Fairport Harbor. He married Peggy Joan Burnett in 1971. Lee worked at Avery Dennison in Painesville for 17 years before retiring early in 2000 to join Peggy to run Sign Stormers making signs for Ashtabula, Lake and Geauga Counties. He loved music, nature and cooking for family and friends, but the most important part of his life was his family. Lee is survived by his wife Peggy of Trumbull Township; children, Keturah (XEric) Kilbourn of Drake, CO, Elijah (Jaime) Roberts of Champaign, IL, Hannah Roberts of Fairview Park; grandchildren Dylan Reid, Jaden Lee Kilbourn, Shea Meara Kilbourn and Jacob Allen Roberts; siblings include Roberta (George) Davis of Thompson, Roger (Andrea) Roberts of Madison and Dennis (Susan) Roberts of Concord. He was preceded in death by his Parents. At Lee?s request there will be no funeral services. A Celebration of Live/Memorial Bonfire will be held in his memory at 4:00 pm, Saturday August 28, 2010 at the family home in Trumbull Township.
