Lawrence "Tom" Clinton Isner
January 19, 1934 ~ December 30, 2020
Lawrence "Tom" Clinton Isner, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at TriPoint Medical Center. He was born January 19, 1934 in Belpre, Ohio, to Letitia (Knox) and Robert Isner. He met the love of his life, Doris Shreve, and they married 67 years ago, December 19, 1953.
Lawrence had been a warehouse manager and truck driver for Brown Furniture in Painesville, and retired from Lubrizol where he served as an electrician. He was a wood-worker and a strong fella with a high tolerance to pain, which only made him tougher, more stubborn, and a survivor. Lawrence was a Godly man and attended Willo-Hill Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and daddy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doris; daughter, Tena (John) Kegg; sister, Charlene Starkey. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Bette Elder, Doraleen Bee, Susan Works; brothers, Arthur “Max” Isner, Robert Isner, Johnnie Isner, and Terry Isner.
Private family services will be observed. Final resting place will be at Perry Cemetery.
