Lauretta Vandyke Gersin

Lauretta Vandyke Gerwin, 89 passed away Jan. 24, 2014 in Venice, FL. She was born July 31, 1924 in Madison, to Martha Fuller Vandyke and Carroll Vandyke. Lauretta was a loving wife and mother of eight sons. She was active in her church in Royal Oak, MI and then in Venice, FL. Lauretta attended Andrews Academy and graduated in 1943. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Leland Gerwin; eight sons; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Central Congregational Church, 71 Park Street, Madison, OH 44057, with Pastor Harry Buch officiating. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison. Arrangements are being handled by THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St., Madison, OH 44057.
