February 24, 1942 ~ August 7, 2018

Larry W. Hundley, age 76, of Geneva, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. He was born February 24, 1942 in Lewisburg, Ohio, the son of the late Bill and Hilda (Houdeshell) Hundley. Larry was previously a resident of Stow and Akron, Ohio as well as a part time resident of Hilton Head Island, SC. A 1960 graduate of Twin Valley North High School in Lewisburg, Larry went on to earn his degree in business administration from Kent State University and his MBA from the American University. Larry was a member of the United States National Guard, and suffered deeply from his presence at the May 4th Kent State shootings where he was also a student at the time. An extremely hard worker, Larry took three jobs to support himself through college, one of which was in the Goodyear tire factory. He moved through the organization up to an executive position as Vice President at Goodyear Aerospace. In his retirement, Larry helped found and become the CEO and co-winemaker at Hundley Cellars. An avid golfer, he shot under 70 many times and loved his time on the course with his beloved friends. Larry will be treasured in the memory of family and friends for his gregarious sense of humor, sensitive heart, and many words of wisdom and love. The family thanks all of you who touched his life. Larry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gerri, daughter Tracy Hundley, grandchildren, Henry Hundley, and Anna and Wyatt Pringle, and sister Cheryl (Paul) Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his precious son, Gregory Roy Hundley. A celebration of Larry and Greg will be announced by family in early fall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Hundley Cellars to Blessings in a Backpack, a charity that provides meals for over 900 children in Ashtabula County on weekends, when school is often their only source of meals. The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057 is assisting the family. Friends may leave condolences online at www.behmfuneral.com
