Larry Burks

Larry Burks, age 66, of Geneva, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at UH Geneva Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1956 in Cleveland the son of Billy and June (Pennington) Burks. Larry was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a carpenter in the construction business; enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved working with wood. He also loved his dogs and Mocha has been looking for him. He is survived by his wife, Schree Burks; sister, Darlene Sparks; brothers, Matthew (Renay) Wertman and Tim Burks; children, Jason Ferris and Brandy Huntington; 7 grandchildren; and many loved nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry V. Burks Jr; his parents; brother, Gerald Burks; and step-father, Eugene Wertman. Private family Services will be held.
