Lantie E. Mollohan
March 9, 1928 ~ February 25, 2023
Lantie E. Mollohan, age 94, of Madison, passed away Saturday morning, February 25, 2023 at his home. He was born March 9, 1928 in Servia, WV to Camden and Minnie Mae (Upton) Mollohan. In 1954, he married the love of his life, Betty Lou Jarvis, and together they raised their six children.
Lantie enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Italy, during the European Recovery, after World War II. He was called back to active duty and served in the Korean War. Lantie came home and relocated to Ohio, where he was employed at Uniroyal. He retired with over 30 years of dedicated service. He hunted and fished with his brothers for many years. Lantie enjoyed golfing while retired. He loved his garden and was able to enjoy working in it, with family, until going home to the Lord.
Lantie is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Lou; his children, Donald Mollohan, Deborah (William, Jr.) DePledge, Michael Mollohan, Cynthia (Leary) Swiger, Katherine (Edward) Kuhn, and Gregory (Ella) Mollohan; grandchildren, Matthew (Justin) Swiger, Rachel (Andrew) Stoltz, Danielle DePledge, William DePledge, III, Lindsay (Eric) Heidenreich, Brian (Allison) Kuhn, Camden (Chrissy) Mollohan, Megan Mollohan, Lauren Mollohan, Kaylee Khanani, Peyton Mollohan; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Sidney, Eleanor, Elise, and Jackson; many loved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Lakie, Oats, Dallas, Fred, Robert, Leland, Harold, Lantz, Clyde, Mildred, Rachel, and Laura.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 2-4pm at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio, 44057. Funeral service will immediately follow at 4pm.
A graveside service with military honors will be 11am, Monday, March 6, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
