Kyle Skinner

kyle skinner

May 25, 1950 ~ January 11, 2025

Kyle Skinner, known to his family and friends as “Kyle”, was born May 25, 1950 to Shirley and Robert “Niel” Skinner. He passed away at home, January 11, 2025.

Kyle, an independent handyman for years also worked many years at Cleveland Clinic Huron Road Hospital in East Cleveland, OH, as a Boiler Operator/Maintenance Professional taking great pride in his work until its closing in 2011. As Kyle put it: “There are 390 lives I am responsible for in this building on a daily basis”.

Kyle is survived by his children, Joshua and Cheyenne Skinner; brother, Frank Skinner; sister, Kelly Skinner, who remembers: “When I was a little girl, to me you were superman! You were sooo tall. You could kill a wasp with your bare hands! You weren’t scared of spiders or monsters. You were always so much fun! We were always getting into mischief. There was always a sense of adventure whether we were kids playing in the woods or grown up taking off on our Harleys. You are off on the next adventure ahead of me, scouting the route for me. Your face in the wind, cranking the throttle and leaning into the curves. Godspeed big brother. God Bless you. I’ll miss you till we meet again.” He is also survived by his loving partner in life, Theresa Petro; and too many loving friends and extended family to count!

Kyle is predeceased by his parents, Shirley and Niel; and brother, Kim Skinner.

  2. Kelly and family. My thoughts and prayers to you and the family of the passing of Kyle. So many fun and fond memories of him of our days growing up in East Cleveland.

  3. One of my fondest memories of Kyle was when my daughter had a summer birthday party (July). Kyle had insisted on building her a slip and slide from scratch for her and her friends, even though he had just been to the eye doctor that morning and had had his eyes dilated! My husband and I both thought he was nuts attempting it in the bright sunlight but that was Kyle – taking care of everyone no matter what. (The slip and slide was a huge success with the kids, needless to day). Kyle was a unique individual and will be truly missed. Ride on, my adopted big Bro and bestie’s older brother!

  4. Sincere condolence to Amy,Chey,Josh &Kelly and the entire family. I will cherish the memories of the great times we shared. Full throttle to the heavens above. Rest in peace Kyle.

  5. I know you are up there riding, keep the rubber on the road and the shiny side up. Prayers and peace to the entire family.

  6. Our sincerest condolences to Kyle’s many friends and family. He had a good heart and may he R.I.P. !!!!!
