Kirk Benson Kennedy

Kirk Benson Kennedy, 53, of Madison, OH, died on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Altercare of Bucyrus Center for Rehabilitation in Bucyrus, OH after a four-month illness. Kirk was born on October 18, 1955, in Madison, OH. His parents were Laura (Benson) and Kimball M Kennedy, Jr. The youngest of three children, Kirk grew up in Madison Village, with his two brothers, Kimball (Skip) Kennedy III and Daniel Kennedy at 95 Eagle Street. He attended Madison High School in the class of 1974. As a life-long resident of Madison, Kirk loved the Northeast Ohio area. A natural conversationalist, Kirk could strike up a discussion with anyone he met and recall stories about many people in the Madison area. He enjoyed playing in many Dart Leagues in and around Madison. Kirk was a passionate fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. Kirk is survived by his Brother, Daniel Kennedy of Harrisburg, PA, four Nephews Nathaniel Kennedy of Pittsburgh, PA, Kylee Kennedy of Los Angeles, CA, Joseph Kennedy of Harrisburg, PA and Jonathan Kennedy of Harrisburg, PA, and Sister-in Law Kathy Kennedy of Greenbelt MD. Kirk is also survived by an Uncle Larry Benson of Johnstown, CO and Aunts Mary (Benson) Swain of Bluffton, SC and Susan (Benson) Pfeifer of Bucyrus, OH. Kirk was preceded in death by his Parents and his Brother Kimball (Skip) Kennedy III A Memorial Service will be held on May 2nd at 2:00 PM at the Behm Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison , Ohio, with visitation 1-2:00 PM.
