Kimberlee Heichel Coolbaugh

Kimberlee Heichel Coolbaugh, age 55 resident of Madison, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at home. She was born August 16, 1956 in Painesville, Ohio to Elosie (Rausch)and Kenneth Heichel. She taught middle school science at Mentor Schools. Kimberlee also worked as a geologist in gold, silver and oil explorations. She was a 1974 Graduate of Madison High School, 1978 Graduate of Wittenburg University and 1991 Graduate of University of Arizona. She was named Lubrizol 2006 Teacher of the Year and Lake County Council PTA Teacher of the Year. Kimberlee was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church where she was the pianist. She had also worked as a field geologist. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. She is survived by sons Robert J. and Tyler Coolbaugh both of Madison; parents, Ken and Ellie Heichel of Madison; brothers, Steven (Lori) Heichel of Overland Park, KS; Dennis (Cheryl) Heichel of Albany, NY and Eric (Lisa) Heichel of Tokyo, Japan. Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6345 Chapel Road, Madison, Ohio 44057. The Rev. Charles Althoff will be officiating.
