What a truly great guy, he will surely be missed. My very deepest condolences to his family.
This news is bitter sweet. My heart aches and rejoices at the same time. That smile will forever be embedded in my memories. Those twinkling eyes are forever a memory in my life. Ken was and always will be remembered as a kind, caring and gentle soul. I was so blessed by him and his family. Ken is now at the feet of Christ worshipping our creator with his son Jason. \nUntil we meet again ….enjoy heaven our friend. Love Knerem Family
I was blessed to know Ken in the mid to late 1980s, when I attended camp Koinonia, not only as a camper and counselor, but yearly with my youth group from the first Baptist Church of Bedford Ohio.\nHe was a loving and selfless man, already ready with a bear hug and positive words. We always looked forward to camp. \nMay your family and friends find peace that he is home, with Jason, and our Lord. They both touched more lives in their short time on Earth that most can hope to for centuries. \nRIP dear sweet Ken! \n\nThe Veider family, Kirtland, Ohio
I am saddened to hear of Ken's passing. I interacted with him as a staff member at Camp Koinonia. I remember him as a jolly, competitive and patient man. He greatly influenced all of us who were on staff those summers. He had to teach an all girl staff to run all the power equipment, operate the pool equipment, drive tractors, do basic maintenance, etc., that were needed to keep the camp functioning. He was so good at teaching. He taught me that I could do anything. He made us laugh, gave us confidence and mentored us as we transitioned from youth to adults. The world lost a great man this week. I will always remember him fondly. I wish the family peace during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. God bless.
I am saddened to hear of Ken's passing. I interacted with him as a staff member at Camp Koinonia during 1989 and 1990. I remember him as a jolly, competitive and patient man. He greatly influenced all of us who were on staff those summers. He had to teach an all girl staff to run all the power equipment, operate the pool equipment, drive tractors, do basic maintenance, etc., that were needed to keep the camp functioning. I learned to drive stick shift on the tractor and how to back a trailer; lessons that later served me well when my husband bought a boat. God bless.
