Kathleen Shannon Williams

Kathleen Shannon Williams, age 76, previously of Madison, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Lenox Ridge Nursing and Rehab. She was born March 15, 1944 in Ashtabula, Ohio to Shirley L. (Laughlin) and James Peter Shannon.
Kathleen was a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Education, Graduate of Ashland University with a Master of Divinity, taught French at Madison High School for 3 years and Westlake High School. Involved in ministry director of education and Youth Pastor of various churches. Spent 6 years as Adjunct professor of humanities at Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa. Kathleen also loved to travel. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi, La Maison Francaise, and Eta Beta Rho Hebrew Honor Societies.
She is survived by her daughter, Meredith (Kenneth) Rogan; son, W. James (Stacy) Williams; grandchildren, Quinn Williams, Casey and Abigael Rogan; brothers, Daniel M. Shannon; and sister, Maria Ames. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, J. Peter Shannon.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

I am sorry not to seen Kathy before she passed. She was my first cousin and fondly remember visiting uncle Jim and aunt shirleys house. She was very nice to me and was a good person. She will be missed.
