Kathleen J. Woodworth, age 70 of Madison, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, after a five year battle with breast cancer. Born on June 21, 1953 in Geneva, OH, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Jean (Rich) Carr. She married James Robert Woodworth on October 2, 1971 in Geneva. Devoted to her Catholic Faith, Kathy played many roles in her work at Immaculate Conception Church in Madison, always there with a smile and to lend a helping hand to those in need. She also found great joy in stamping and making cards with friends. Before retiring, Kathy worked over 20 years as a real estate title examiner. Kathy is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Rich) Molchen; sons, Mark (Erica) and Michael (Kelly); 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sister; Beth Smith; and her very dear friend, Beth Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; and parents, Dan and Jean. Friends will be received 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 15th at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 16th at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road in Madison.
