Kathleen Albright

Kathleen Albright, age 84, of Thompson, Ohio, passed away May 21, 2024 at Jefferson Healthcare. She was born October 10, 1939 in Ashtabula, OH to Alfreda (Taylor) and Lawrence Loftus. Kathleen married Terrence Albright. Cooking was her passion. She enjoyed working at Heather Hill, cooking for all the residents beyond her family, who never left home hungry. Kathleen was a foster mother for children in need of a loving home. She loved spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, and gardening. She is survived by her sons, David (Suzanne) Simpson, Brian (Elizabeth Waski) Albright, Brandon Albright; grandchildren, Alecia (Andrew) Webster, Matthew (Cristina) Simpson, Kieran Albright; great-grandchildren, Braden Webster, Noah Webster, Fiona Simpson, Cameron Simpson; brother, Fredrick Loftus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrence; and her parents, Lawrence and Alfreda. Friends will be received 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM, Friday, May 31st, 2024 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison Ohio, with a Funeral Service following at 6:00 PM, celebrated by Pastor Chris DeVine. Final Resting Place will be Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ashtabula County Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula Ohio 44004.
