Karen Sue Herron

Karen Sue Herron, age 66, passed away on April 29, 2026. In her home due to natural causes. She was born on March 31, 1960, in Geneva, Ohio, to Walter and Helen (Sprinkle) Petrowski.

Karen lived a very simple life. She could be found gardening and tending to her plants or
baking with her grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was to spend time with her dog while watching her favorite Lifetime movies. She enjoyed the “based on a true story” shows. Karen also enjoyed having a drink while listening to her favorite music while singing along.
Karen spent years painting with her daughter Brandy, until retirement. During retirement, she spent hours on the phone with her daughter, Desiree. She enjoyed having bonfires and catching up with her son David. She was a devoted mother, always helping her kids with all of their wild endeavors. She was never able to say no to the things her children needed or wanted from her.

The love of her life, Dave, and she were together up until the end. No matter what obstacles came, they figured them out and found their way back to one another. They loved taking motorcycle rides and working in the garage together.

She leaves behind her husband, David Herron; daughters, Brandy Herron and Desireé Fuduric; son, David Herron Jr.; grandchildren, Amiya Jacobs, Wyatt and Aubrey Fuduric, Lacresha Herron, Destiny Herron, Katrina Herron, David Herron III, Justin Baird; step-grandchildren, Taneisha Wells, Delshawn Wells, Eddie Wells; and her companion and beloved dog, Angel. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Petrowski.

A celebration of life will take place at 1 p.m. on May 30th, 2026, at 1709 West 11th st. Ashtabula, Ohio. Please reach out to family for the information or with any questions.
