Justin Joseph Landon

Justin Joseph Landon, age 25 of Painesville, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016. He was born on February 3, 1991 in Painesville, the son of Gary Landon and Tina Amos. Justin was affectionately known as "SweetPea," a name he received in grade school for his hard hitting nature and great heart in Midget League Football. A movie buff he was passionate about sports playing softball, basketball and following the CAVS. Justin loved animals and with a wonderful sense of humor he was always there for a good laugh. He loved being an uncle to his two nephews and his generous heart meant that he was always willing to help others when they needed it most. He is survived by his mother: Tina Marie Amos; father: Gary (Molly Homerick) Landon; brother "broham": Corey (Michelle) Landon; nephews: Carter and Colby; paternal grandparents: Henry and Janet Landon; aunts: Carol (Tim), Terrilynn, Lisa, Sandy, Linda, Phyllis (Ray), Janice, Kathy, and Melanie; uncles: Art, Ashley, Al, Henry, and Norm (Anu). He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Joseph and Theresa Amos. Family and friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May, 5, 2016 at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery on River Street in Madison Village.
