June S. Pepin , Age: 95, Resident of Geneva, OH, Passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 in Geneva. Born August 7, 1916 in Cleveland to Agnes E. (Bourziel) & Carroll Hinckley Married to Everett Lyle Pepin, Sr. June was a devoted member of The United Church of Geneva where she participated in many church functions, including teaching Sunday School. For several decades she also hosted weekly prayer group meetings in her home and, for the last five years, at the Sanctuary of Geneva. Throughout her life she helped maintain the family's farm and home in Geneva. In the late 1950's she obtained a bachelor's degree in Education from Lake Erie College and began her teaching career. She taught first at Geneva Spencer then at Homer Nash Elementary in Madison where she retired after many years of service. She is survived by: Son;Lyle (Carolyn) Pepin, Jr. of Madison grandchildren: Michelle Metzger of Columbus, OH Lyle Pepin, III of Chicago, IL Erica Stefanik of Westlake, OH great-grandchildren: Shelby, Ellia, and Tommy foster son;Kemil Pepin Preceded in death by her husband, parents and stepfather, George R. Smith, and foster son, Emmett Euype. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at The United Church of Geneva, 75 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041. Friends may call one hour prior to the service 10-11:00 AM. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. Memorial Contributions requested to The United Church of Geneva or Camp Koinonia, 6810 Cork Cold Springs Rd, Geneva, OH 44041.
