Jay was my first Sunday school teacher at Perry Methodist Church about 1944. My mother Marion Brewster was very active, in the church, as was Jay. Jay seemed to be helping at every church event. I taught skiing, Jay would bring scouts to take lessons to get their skiing merit badge. When I started Brewster Builders Jay was my first HVAC company. He also made gutters in the early years. These last few years I would see him at Vista Nursing Home, and we would talk. Jay was quite a favorite at the home. He always got up, dressed, and went to his meals. Jay was never one to lay around! Always so kind, loved to talk, so active all his life, Legendary steelhead fisherman. If you wanted to know anything about fishing, ask Jay. If you wanted to know anything about the nursery business, ask Jay. The man could do and did everything! Amazing Man. Lifelong friend. Don’t think Jay will rest in peace because he will find something important to help God with!
Our condolences to you during this difficult time. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Duane and Cheryl B.
