Joyce A. Dame

Joyce A. Dame, age 78, peacefully passed away at home on July 22, 2019. She was born November 27, 1940 in Euclid, OH to William and Ann Turk. She married Richard Dame on June 2, 1962.
Joyce’s number one priority was her family but she had a number of other accomplishments. She started a floral business with her daughter, Lisa, called “The Flower Barn”. She was a member of the Madison Garden Club and served as president for many years. She was also a founding member and owner of a family business called the Red Mill Golf Center and was influential in a number of charity events sponsored by the Golf Center like “Wags for Warriors.”
Joyce leaves behind, her husband of 57 years, Richard; children, Richard W. Dame, David. A. Dame, Daniel A. (Shelly) Dame, Lisa A. (Daniel) D’Abate and Robert W. (Stacy) Dame; grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Danielle, Allison, Joseph, Owen, Luke, Alex, Benjamin and Maddie; great-granddaughter, Sophia and sister-in-law Pat Turk. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William Turk.
Friends will be received 2-5 p.m. Sunday July 28, 2019 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26, River Street, Madison, OH. Her final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Joyce’s name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, Ohio 44192.
