Joshua William Torres
December 25, 1981 ~ August 6, 2018
Joshua William J.W. Torres, 36, passed away at home, Monday morning, August 6, 2018. He was born Christmas Day in 1981 to Mitchell and Connie Torres.
The community lost another good man to the heroin epidemic. We can only pray and hope that others struggling with use, and their families, find healing and recovery. J.W. loved his daughters, Arrianna and Sophia, family, and life. He was a good person with a big heart and character like no other.
J.W. is survived by his wonderful daughters, parents, brother Jacob, and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Family is planning special celebration of life and remembrance to be announced to family and friends over the days to come.
The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is helping the family at this time.
We love you Joshua. I remember the day you were born.Grandma Byrnes and I came to see you for the first time. I remember when You visited grandma and grandpa Byrnes house, and You and Jake would jump in the mud puddles!! And Grandma would hose you off and give you baths. You have no more worries and no more heartbreak. You are with both sets of your grandparents in heaven , and in gods loving arms. There is only peace for you now. Which makes our hearts a little less heavy!! Our hearts go out to my sister Connie, Brother in law Mitchell and your brother Jake. I wish we could take all the pain away. We love you forever, Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Scott, Maggie and Harry. Forever in our heart and minds.
I hope you're at peace now Josh. Your entire family are in my prayers. Much love brother rest in peace
