Josephine A. Steele, 91, of Geneva, passed away Christmas Day at The Sanctuary of Geneva. She was born June 13, 1926 in Cleveland OH to Charles and Hazel (Morrison) Stillwell and married the late C. Keir Steele. She is survived by 5 loving children and extended family.
Josephine worked in customer service at Cleveland Illuminating Company over 24 years. She also worked at Lawrences Five and Dime for 10 years. Josephine attended church at The Peoples Church in Geneva and enjoyed going out to dinner with her girlfriends, traveling, baking apple pies, and making latch hook rugs.
Friends may call 11am-12pm Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at Behm Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway Rd. Geneva OH 44041. Funeral service will follow at 12pm, celebrated by Dr. Rev. Jerry Fritz of the United Church of Christ in Andover. Final resting place is Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.

We loved Jo very much and enjoyed talking with her..her faith was so strong and positive..She is with Jesus now and just think she went to be with Him on His birthday…see you again some day.
