Joseph Woitella, age 88, of Madison, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023. He was born October 11, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph and Victoria Woitella. He married his loving wife, Beverly on July 24, 1954 in Orwell, Ohio.

Joseph was the owner of Lake County Auto and Scrap Recyclers in Painesville, Ohio since 1976. He enjoyed boating as a member of both Western Reserve and Grand River Yacht clubs. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; sons, Joe (Charlene) Woitella and Don (Suzanne) Woitella; and daughter, Karen (Patrick) Howley; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Stanley Nita; three sisters, Dorothy, Sally and Betty; and one grandson, Bret.

Friends will be received on Monday, April 17 at 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison OH. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 18, at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison, OH.
