Joseph Steven Shepherd

On February 22, 2023 the Shepherd family tragically and unexpectedly lost their hero, Joseph Steven Shepherd. Joe was born in Geneva, Ohio on December 9, 1958. He then was raised in Madison Township where he attended Madison High School and then he started his early career as an incredibly talented general contractor.
Joe married the love of his life Shirley Moore in 1986 in Madison Township. He dedicated his entire life to being a devoted father, grandfather and loving husband. Joe was passionate about his family, construction, golf and tactical sport. The world lost one of the brightest lights when he departed.
Joe leaves behind his loving wife, Shirley; his son and legacy, Cody Shepherd; son, James Houston; daughters, Amanda Shepherd and Stephanie Shepherd; and his beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Lillian Shepherd and his brothers Thomas and Billy Shepherd.

I’m at a total loss for words, So sorry for your loss, Joe will be missed.
My heart is sadden to hear that my uncle joe is gone. He was truly the kindest person, he always care and tried to solve any problem. Even though my time with him was short, my father always shared the stories of his brother and him on the farm. Family was very important to both of them. My thoughts and prayers are with my aunt and cousins as they grieve.
