Joseph William Kirsch, age 75, of Ashtabula, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Ashtabula Medical Center. He was born March 15, 1946 in Cleveland, the son of Howard and Bernadette (Rothgery) Kirsch. He married Agnes Hallen on July 21,1973. They were married for 47 years. Joseph was a 1964 graduate of St. Joe’s High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He was a CNC machinist and enjoyed taking care of his flowers, going on vacation with Agnes, playing Sudoku and also loved watching sports; including the Indians, Browns and Nascar. Joseph was a born again Christian who loved the Lord. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Kirsch; daughters, Darlene Skedel, Terry O’Neill (Bill O'Neill), Sharron Klco (Jim Klco); several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Howard Kirsch; and sisters, Rita Gillespie and Bernadette Beuck (Jerry Beuck) and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; great-granddaughter Masiella, and Joe's sister Kathleen North. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warrior Project. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at North Madison Cemetery on Hubbard Road in Madison with Military Honors Presented by the Madison Community Funeral Honors Team. Guests are required to follow current pandemic guidelines, wear masks and practice social distancing. The Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time.
