Joseph J. Chilbert, Age 80 Resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 Burton Health Care in Burton, Ohio. He was born December 5, 1930 in Geneva, New York to Mary Catherine (Luzzi) & Joseph Michael Chilbert. He Married Erma Jean Izett in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania on August 28, 1954. Mr. Chilbert was a Guidance Counselor at Mayfield High School. Joseph was a U.S. Army Veteran 1948- 1952, serving in the Western Pacific during the Chinese Civil War and the Korean Conflict. He earned 5 battle stars. He is survived by Wife Erma Jean Chilbert of Madison; Sons, Paul Chilbert of Gettysburg,PA; Michael (Cindi) Chilbert of Hamden,OH; Aaron (Shari) Chilbert of Gaithersburg, MD; Grandchildren,Travis, Kayce, Kristin, Kimberly, Eric, Maria, Rebecca, Nina and Joseph; Great-Grandchildren, Brennan and Brodie Sisters, Elizabeth (Nicholas) Reres of Geneva, NY; Eleanor (Paul) Bothwell of Cape Coral, FL; Patricia (Rocky) Mellini of Seneca Falls, NY; Brothers, Anthony (Eleanor) Chilbert of Syracuse, NY; Richard (Sharon) Chilbert of Geneva, NY; Thomas Chilbert of Rochester, NY and John (Ellen) Camelio of Orono, ME. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Dominic Chilbert; and Sister, Catherine Visco. Friends will be received from 1-4pm, Sunday November 20, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway St., Geneva, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am, Monday November 21, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison OH. Graveside Service will be St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneva, NY.
