Joseph G. Schuld, 88, of Madison, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Summerville Assisted Living in Mentor.
Born May 28, 1920 in Cleveland to Elizabeth (Dorner) & Joseph Schuld he married Lois Everhart in Cleveland on 2/27/1934.
Ho owned & operated Cleveland Commercial Auto Body and was a partner at Mill Supply, Inc.
Mr. Schuld Was a graduate of West Tech High School and attended Western Reserve University. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He was a former member of the S. Euclid Kiwanis Club, volunteered at Holden Arboretum and was a Lake County Master Gardener. He was a member of the Madison Garden Club and Madison Historical Society. He attended Painesville Assembly of God Church and was formerly a member of First Assembly of God in Lyndhurst.
He is survived by daughters, Kathy (Tom) Norton of Chardon & Julie (Wally) Cook of Madison; Sons, David (Christina) Schuld of Valley View & Jim (Jennifer) Schuld of Madison;
Grandchildren, Shawn (Jill) Cook & Kelly Cook, Gareth (Rebecca) Schuld,
John-David, Graham & Jillian Schuld;
Great Granddaughter, Aleena Cook and
Sister, Elizabeth Traum of Rocky River
He was preceded in death by his Parents and Wife, Lois
Friends will be received 2-4:00 pm and 7-9:00 pm Thursday, April 16, 2009, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Friday, April 17 at the Painesville Assembly of God Church, 10949 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Painesville, Ohio. Pastor Aaron Taylor of Painesville Assembly of God Church will be officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
