Joseh W Amos

Joseph W. Amos, age 71, of Lakewood, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Wade Park Veterans Hospital in Cleveland. He was born June 4, 1941 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the U.S. Army and was a proud member of the American Legion. Joseph worked for many years at Dalton's Knitting Mill in Willoughby and also for Nabisco Food Service. He is survived by daughters, Carol (Tim) Elliott of Madison, Lisa Amos of Tampa, FL, Tina (Randy) Cook of Painesville & Terrilynn (Robert Ortenzi) Amos of Lakewood; grandchildren, Chris (Jessica) Elliott, Jessica (Dan) Gehring, Corey (Michelle) Landon, Justin Landon, Spencer Roth & Sadie Roth; great-grandchildren, Riley, Raegan & Mason Elliott, Carter & Colby Landon; sisters, Janet, Dolores, & Louise. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa; his mother, Dorothy & sister, Dorothy. Everyone is welcome to a Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 20, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
