John S. Boyle

John S. Boyle, age 92, resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 in Madison. He was born December 11, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio to Kate (Burns) & John Boyle. He married Mary Jane Hynd in Bedford, Ohio on February 27, 1948. John retired in March, 1981, after 35 years of service at Ohio Bell. John served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Member of Chapel Church, Lake Shore Lodge #307; Geneva Chapter #147; Geneva Council #145; Eagle Commandery #29; Scottish Rite Valley Cleveland; KYCH-CTCH-69th DIV US Infantry Capt. Recipient of the Knights Templar Cross of Honor. He is survived by his Wife, Mary Jane Boyle of Madison; 2 Daughters, Cynthia Collins of Ashtabula, Deborah (Ray) Hall of Easley, SC, 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Fairview Memorial Park in Madison Village. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
