John Roby Gervan

John (Jack) Roby Gervan, 73, of Geneva, OH, passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at University Hospital of Cleveland. He was born January 13, 1936 in Buffalo, NY. He graduated from Lockport High School in 1954 and then served in the U.S. Air Force. John married Nancy C. Bunn on October 8, 1960 in Lockport, NY. John worked as a Radiographic Technologist at Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo, NY and at St. Luke?s Hospital, Cleveland, OH and as an Application Specialist at Picker International. He enjoyed stamp collecting, coin collecting and playing cards. His favorite times were spent with his family as a loving husband, Dad and Papa. John was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh M. Gervan, Dorothy Roby Gervan and Mildred Baudendistel Gervan. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; three children, Tracy Guminiak (Fiancee of Alan Bray), Deborah (Byron) Walker, Timothy (Dawn Warner) Gervan; seven grandchildren, Katrina Guminiak, Kayla Guminiak, Damon Walker, Devin Walker, Kyle Walker, Amanda Gervan, Joshua Gervan; great-grandsons, Seth Barrows & Shawn Walker. He is further survived by one sister, Gladys (Larry) Littman, one sister-in-law, Beth (David) Kraatz and many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Rev. Larry Wade will be officiating. Burial will be in Alexander Harper Cemetery, Unionville, Ohio. Flowers are gratefully declined.
