John ?Zip? Ray, Jr.age 55, resident of Madison, passed away Monday,March 14, 2011 at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He was born July 19, 1955 in Salem, Ohio to Joanne (Probert) & Johnny Ray. He married Carol Wietrzykowski on July 19, 2003. Zip worked with his Father for many years at Johnny Ray?s Radiator and Towing in Madison. With a passion for cars Zip loved to go to the races at Painesville Speedway. He enjoyed camping, animals and mud running with his Nephew Bobby. He is survived by his wife Carol Ray of Madison, Son John, Mother Joanne of Madison, sister Amy (Bob) Nye of Madison, Brothers Thomas Ray of Denton, Texas, Rick (Charlotte Bender) Ray of Perry,Nieces Trisha, Morgan, and Emily, Nephew Bobby and Tyler, and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Ray. Friends will be received 2-4:00pm and 6-9:00pm on Thursday, March 17, 2011 and 10-11:00am on Friday, March 18, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday at the Funeral Home.
