So saddened to hear this. I worked in HR for 30 yrs and interacted with John many times. He was always a joy to work with. He made jambalaya during one of our outages….best I ever ate. Prayers to his family during this difficult time. I am in Hawaii now and will not be home for he services. RIP John….
It's been about 20 years since I last saw John (“Mr. Goecker”, as I referred to him back then). He was one of my scout leaders for Troop 68. There were many leaders for the troop but John was one of the more memorable leaders for me and my most-favorite. I was so saddened to hear about this news. My thoughts and prayers to his family.
I worked with John for over 30 years at Perry. He was a good friend, hard worker and will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. RIP John…
I'll always remember handing off the week to John when we were Work Week Managers, and I had some astonishing weeks to turn over! His friendship and smiling face will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time.
I offer my deepest condolences for your loss. These times prove to be the hardest for us, when our loved ones fall asleep in death. God's word the Bible gives us encouraging information regarding death. At Acts 24:15, John 5:28,29, 1Corinthians 15:26, and Revelation 21:4. May just a few of these Bible truths bring you comfort at this time.
I worked with John for many years in Maintenance at Perry. You could always count on him for help or maybe a joke to lighten a tough situation. My condolences to the family. We will all miss him.
The news that John passed saddened me deeply. John and I have worked together for a number of years and while I work at another plant, we have been teammates for many assignments. He will be missed. I always had fun when he was around. His energy and enthusiasm were a model for others.
Sorry for your loss, our prayers and thoughts are with your family.
My deepest sympathies to your family on your loss. I knew John both professionally and personally. I worked with him for over 16 years at Perry. I could always count on His positive attitude and upbeat personality at work. However I think his greatest contribution was his leadership in scouting where he positively shaped many young minds. My son became an Eagle Scout in part due to The guidance he received from John. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
I am so heartbroken to hear of John's passing. He was a wonderful man. I am so sad for Patricia, Lori, John and the grandkids. I know how much the kids loved him and how much he loved them. He will be so missed. May God comfort you during this very difficult time.
John always had a positive attitude towards life and his job. It was always a pleasure to interface with him. I worked with him in Maintenance at Perry and we will surely miss him. Prayers for his family during this time.
Pat, Laurie and children, I along with the community of people who knew John, just a little or a lot, knew what a giving, generous person he was. An all around “good guy” who will be missed. But most of all by you his closest family members. My deepest sympathy on his untimely death.
My deepest sympathies are with your family. John was such a wonderful man – one of the mostly truly good people I have met in my life. He was kind, caring, helpful and wise. His sense of humor and positive attitude were always apparent. I was honored to know him through work, where he became a mentor for me. I will never forget the day I unexpectedly ran into him at a my son's first scouting event… while not my son's scout leader, he took him under his wing and made him feel welcomed for the day. John spoke so highly of his family… his wife, children and grandkids. Thank you for sharing him with the rest of us. My thoughts and prayers for peace are with you all.
I worked with John for many years at Perry, he was always ready to go the extra mile to help out and had a can do attitude about whatever we were working on. My condolences and prayers are with his family.

Sue and I were shocked to hear of John”s sudden passing. It is tragic that someone so full of life and deeply involved in his Church and community not being here. John will be remembered by his many friends, co-workers, and a very close family. He will be missed but his spirit will remain strong.
We hope to see your family on Sunday

Very sorry for your loss Patty. I will miss my cousin. We all love you guys. So unexpected.
Pat and family, I am so shocked to hear of John's passing. I worked with John at Perry for a few years and we went through our MBA together. He was a good friend and the life of any gathering. I will miss him dearly.
Patty, in a world with so many people of questionable character, I was always glad that you had a genuinely good man as a husband. Cousin Bernice and Matt, and me and my brothers all liked John very much. Every time I hear a Styx song, I think of John.
Pat and family I am sorry for your loss, My Cousin Johnny will be missed. when we were young teens I remember him with his dog Rascal, (St.Bernard mix) now that I think about it they were quite alike – strong, in charge but sweet inside as candy. I love ya Johnny R.I.P.
your cousin Sandy
